Series 109 Matchbox

A friend of mine found this amongst his stuff and thought of me so he gave it to me. He said he bought it at a hardware store that was going out of business in 1968. It looks like no one's ever touched it. Just thought I would share it with you folks because it is so cool.

Nice! Check out this other Series one I've got....notice the writing on the side. And compare it to this pic of my 127/130 in its prior life

That NiB 109 is sweet! I used to play with Matchbox and Hot Wheels all the time as a kid. I liked Matchbox better as they were more authentic and not as crazy as some of the Hot Wheels.

Lav the side by side pic of the graphics is so neat! Is that a Matchbox or a Corgi?

Nice to get that in a box. I have three of them, one was mine when I was a kid, and it is almost bare metal.

I know I still have my original Range Rovers in a box somewhere. One was a Matchbox police RR and one was either Dinky or Corgi RR 2 door in copper color with light blue interior.
