They asked if I had blade or glass so I said glass but would rather have blade. I was pretty happy to convert haha, glass fuses are the worst

Gents, it looks like we're on for Saturday. Weather looks good and all are welcome to stop by. ALl harnesses are here and other supplies are arriving. Should be a good time. I'll be sure to post pictures and what not in case some other fool buys a rover like mine and needs this thread for advice.

Ah sorry I thought I had responded to this already oops. It went well, Pedro, Ed, and Gustavo all came by to help out. We finished taking out the lower dash and stripping the old wiring. Previous harness was in shit shape but is all out now, we fed the wiring through the chassis (last minute decision) after wrapping in in split loom then taping around it. I'm waiting on weatherpack connectors to do the front and rear lights but the dash wiring is almost all connected. The engine harness was modified as it was for a later alternator where you would plug the harness into the alternator. We couldn't get the truck started but we're fairly certain that was an issue with the fuel delivery (which is why I posted about getting new fuel lines).

There's not too much left to do but a lot of the wiring colors don't match up so we've been consulting that lucas color chart posted in here earlier. Whats going to be a little tricky is figuring out which relays go into what and guessing and checking for the fuses. I also have a blue sea fuse box on the way to do that set up as everyone agreed that I shouldn't cut into a new harness for accessories. In the down time waiting for wiring stuff I've been working on the interior. Rubberized 3m paint under the floorboards, dynamatting, repainting the dash etc. The bulkhead was in great shape too which was nice. I think that covers just about everything thats been done to it over the past few days haha
