Seizure Mistake Article

The may have already been posted, but it is satisfying reading:

Hopefully this embarrassment will turn their focus elsewhere for a while so as not to repeat the same mistake again.

Unfortunately that has not been the case

I second this statement.

So many people have contacted me following the publicity we've received in the wake of the case settling to ask me for help with defending against the seizures of their own vehicles/property, that I've finally broken down and decided to go ahead and hang out my own shingle again. I'll pretty much exclusively be practicing in automobile import/export and civil asset seizure and forfeiture defense.

Please know that I absolutely hate having to charge people money in order to help them in these types of cases, because I see these folks as victims. Unfortunately, I've simply reached the point where I just can't financially justify doing it for free any longer. That being said, I've heard from a good number of individuals who are active duty US military personnel who are, or have, been deployed abroad and who have purchased vehicles for their own personal use overseas who also want to bring their vehicles home with them to continue their own personal use of them. I intend to assist these individuals at a discounted rate because, to me, it's just the right thing to do.

I'm working to get a website up and get my doors open. I also expect to contact the site admins here soon so I can I can get myself set-up as a vendor of sorts. There is only a place holder page for the website right now, but the website address for my new page is:

www.defenderofdefenders.com

I am truly honored to have been bestowed with this title, now the namesake of my website. And, my thanks goes out to everyone again for all of y'all supporting us in our case! I never expected that all of this would lead me to where I am now, being in the position to help people while at the same time doing something that I am truly passionate about for a living! It is truly a dream come true.

That's not just a great title for your Land Rover work, it's a great title for your support for those who serve in the military defending and protecting us.
Thank you.

Outstanding Will! God has a hand in this I do believe and has shown you a way to fight the tyranny that has become our Government.

Wow! Will, that is truly commendable work you're doing (knowing full well you're definitely never getting rich doing any of it)
A true Patriot! There should be a special toast for people like you every Fourth of July to recognize that we are never really completely done fighting tyranny.

Doug: is there any possibility of offering a "voluntary contribution" option for clients importing Defenders through you? When I renew some memberships there is always a "would you like to contribute a voluntary donation to...." Usually that trade groups lobby or scholarship.
In this case it would benefit a fund set up to offset some of Will's cost.
I only thought of you because you are one of the most prolific advicates of the proper import process. I suppose anyone could do it, but you have new owners' ears and undivided attention.

Working with me as you know isn't a "tick the box" experience having imported a couple trucks together. That said if you wish to "renew " with me we will involve Will and you can do so

Will and are working on structuring a symbiotic relationship going forward.

Agreed.
I didn't mean so much to volunteer you as maybe to suggest that folks that import defenders for resale or their own consumption owe a debt of gratitude to Will for protecting their rights.
