yes it was pretty sweet I waited a few minutes hoping the owners would stop by but they didn't. Pictures don't do it justice.

I have seen one of there earlier TDI conversions the guys do good work. Better than new... The TDI frame swap conversion almost cost what he paid for the 90 new... Rovers are very labor intensive and PITA in general to convert one like that ill bet its not cheep... It goes to the old saying you get what you pay for... Back to topic the open top 110 would be so cool to hit the beach area in...

I have a hard top D-90 and I would love to convert it but the cost is not in my budget right now... maybe next season

I love seeing all the d90's drive around on aruba, i just wish you could rent one...
they have the tours you can take in them but you don't get to drive them...

last year when i was there i saw one of the tours take three 130's full of passangers down to the natural pool, there are some seriously rough trails to get there, it's hard to take a quad down some of them!

yep the moon-like terrain on the opposite end of the island is perfect for any Land Rover, or tank

They sure rent alot of Wranglers on Aruba, someone should have a Defender rental

I went to Aruba this past summer.. I ended up signing up for a half day 'jeep safari' which was done with yellow zebra-striped 110/130? 2-doors w/ safari top & diesel engine.. there were about 12 of us total.. split us into 2 groups, 6 people per truck.. and the 'guide' had his own truck.. in my truck, it was just me and one other guy who switched off for driving.. but they took us to all the sight seeing spots, and took us on some 'mild' terrain... I asked the guy for some challenges and he was happy to oblige.. some blue-level small trails.. tough enough to get the other truck slightly stuck..

There was also another company there that had 110s also, nicely loaded up also.. snorkels on them.. I don't remember the name of either company, but it's in all of the sightseeing literature there.. I organized it through the Mariott Surf Club. I would have much rather have been able to rent it for the whole week and go out on my own, but this was still a good time.
