His list prices are 179 for the regular and 199 for the PTO one. The latter is for those who have a PTO, or over/underdrive fitted into their T/c (which I have)
This is what Si offered:

If you order two, I'll give you a discount of 10% on the cost of the brakes (not the shipping).
Cost of a defender X-Brake is 153.18 and of a PTO/under/overdrive or Range Rover/Disco version is 170.20 both ex VAT.

So there is still shipping but the more we order the more spread out the cost.
Shipping on one is $108, two is about $145, etc. etc.
Thats UPS. There may be cheaper ones.

Right now, 153.18 = $268.81 for the regular one and $298.75 for the PTO one.

From what I have read on the forums, the SR knock off uses a cast rotor which can crack instead of one like X eng has which may bend or flex, but wont shatter.

I'm game for one Cliff. I'd go PTO, if we can get the price down.

David,
The $50 off (10% off) is about the best I can get.
Shipping gets cheaper spread out over more units shipped.
There is a place who will be selling them here in the USA, and I was qouted "$500ish" from them.
So $298.00 plus $70 or less shipping is a much better deal! At least I think so.
Between the two of us we would each save about $140+ or $280 combined. More if more order.
Spread the word.
Thanks

Have you found out anything else about this?
I'm interested to hear Scorpion's side.

Probably never will.
Seems they do it all the time.
It was posted they say Ashcrofts HD axles are theirs, same with the underdrive, etc.
Equipe sued them from what I read as well as they tried to either copy or claim Equipe's stuff as their own too.
Once is bad enough, but if you read the threads on LR4x4, youll see dozens and dozens of bad experiences with their service and products. Sad to see.
