Lol. Respect!

Since we've returned to the dude, I'd say thread de-escalation complete!

Wow. There's a'lotta drama going on here that I was out of the loop on. Very Jeep like. Nothing like the circle of fellowship going on at URE I experienced.

There's so few good rover shops in the SE/mid-atlantic that I'm rooting for them all. God knows there's plenty of business for them to share. TDI experience needed.

Briggs, you have carved yourself a niche in this forum. Thanks for keeping it real. there's nothing more comforting than the sound of ice in a tumbler.

I was never mad at him. I've just never seen some one kiss ass that hard. Your statement about pork sandwiches reminds me of how stupid half your posts are though.

This thread was brought to my attention at 1 AM (it was my wife's endless huffing and hissing at my phone that woke me up).

To John, Robert Davis, Brian Kandefer, and several others my wife and I sincerely thank you. It's always nice when people have your back.

I’ve been aware of many happenings and have pretty much stayed out of several instances where I thought it best to distance my family, myself and the team here at Safari from any drama. While I am unsure as to the nature of Yohman’s PM to John and I'm too busy to worry about it. I will say:

1. I am not a certified mechanic (everything I know I learned hands on) and I am even smart enough to ask for help when I need it.

2. While we can’t keep all customers happy all the time we strive to exceed expectations and have open lines of communication.

3. We care about every job, big or small.

4. We always strive to do it better.

5. We do honor a 12 month / 12,000 mile warranty.

6. We sometimes miss deadlines.

7. We sometimes go over budget.

Thank you all for the support over the years. I'm proud that with hard work and continuously learning and growing from mistakes that I've gone from a 1 car garage to a 12,000 sq ft facility and a staff of 7 and in doing so have made a bunch of great friends along the way. Thank you!

Stephen, Brooke and the Team

Sorry this ruined your night Stephen.. I come here for the camaraderie not the conflict.. I get enough passive aggressive b.s at work i don't need to come here for it..

If i had it to do over again I would of sent the PM to the moderator but I just watched Straight Out of Compton and i was fired up!

All kidding aside a post from Zack in the restoration warranty thread indicated this was a pattern not an isolated incident..

John, Zack and Stephen are all good people.
I know it added drama, John, but sometimes it's best to take the top of the litter box, dump it, and let things air out, before new litter goes in.

Reminds me of the bypass oil routing through the oil cooler:
The engine filters some of the oil all the time and all the oil some of the time.
But it doesn't filter all the oil all the time.

How about all the Rover mechanics in Orlando go and meet somewhere and hash this shit out in private... Orlando, Rover drama queen headquarters of the world.

I think Safari might need an HR department to check references and do background checks. Next thing you know Shayne will be their lead mechanic and Brewie will be making cages for Himalaya.
