Satisfied Badger Fabric Door Seal Users?

I know a lot has been written on Badger tops and the consensus seems to be that the gutter product is great. I am wondering if there is anyone out there that went with the fabric door seal and regret not getting the gutter? Are fabric door seal owners generally satisfied with how the doors seal?

Thanks,

Hi bought the Badger III full top about a year ago and opted for the fabric seals over the gutter kit. No regrets whatsoever. Been in many Florida downpours with only a trickle of water that came in. I have since changed to the surrey top for the season and might just leave that on full time until the rainy season returns

I have the "genuine" Rovers North Badger top which I believe was the 1st gen top without the gutter kit. The top is very well built but the velcro around the door seal is pretty bad off it just won't hold any longer. It leaves a nice gap for wind and snow. I was thinking of sending the top to Badger for a re-velcrowing. If I were to choose again I would do the gutter kit.

I LIKE THE NON GUTTER KIT TOPS.. LESS STUFF AROUND THE DOORS IN THE SUMMER AND I GET NO LEAKS... itS BETTER WHEN THE TOP IS OFF IN THE SUMMER AND YOU ARE JUST RUNNING A BIKINI TOP.

My feelings have always been along the same lines as Randys. For people with the gutter kit, how hard is it to take on and off? Also how exactly does the fabric door seal kit work? Is it less of a hastle to take on and off than the gutter kit?

The fabric door sealer is just there , it is an attached extension of the soft top and not anything complicated or anything to remove or put back. It over laps a bit with the door tops blocking out the elements. When you remove the soft top to go topless or put on a different top, the fabric sealer goes with it.

I just leave it on since I lost the connecting bars that were there for the original top. That said not very hard to remove.

No problems with the fabric seals. I'm still amazed how quiet the top is overall at highway speeds.

I have stayed completely dry with mine. My old besttop can't come close to it. I couldn't justify spending the extra money for the gutter when the top is barely on the truck in the summer.
