Starboard looks sweet. Intrigued by the possibility of having it cut with a water jet, maybe adding square piece of SS underneath for an improved ground plane for the amateur radio.

I'm bummed.... I thought I was in line for one of these, but I must have been below the first 25 (Holly just said I was "on the list" when I asked to be put in line for one)... now I guess I just have to hope that some don't take theirs or better yet SD decides there is a market and starts making them with the ROX basket

If anyone who bought a super-sweet Safety Devices rack wants a set of the tread plate ladder steps as found on the 97 LE, PM me. I've got a set laying around.

I'm sure there will be enough drop outs to satisfy most folks. In this economy I bet it will all even out and we will sell all of them, but just barely.
Holly is doing her best to contact people. She has the list organized in order that requests came in and she is giving each person a couple days to respond. If she doesn't hear anything or doesn't get a payment then she moves on to the next in line. There will be plenty of drop outs, so don't worry too much.

A SD rack with an ECR basket is at least a year away (if ever). Just FYI.

Quick update:

Holly said this came up today so I thought I would post info.

What we are selling is complete SD rack kits. We hope to be able to get just rear ladders or other parts from them in the future, but as of right now all we have available are complete rack systems (rear ladder, basket, 2x cross bars, feet, misc hardware).

Thanks!

Just FYI for the folks on the board that are awaiting their racks. We got some images form the SD factory and I had a chance to post them today. Enjoy, and it won't be long now.

What is the total price now that I went ahead and bought another D90.

Nevermind: $2450.00

I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve. Can't wait for mine.

Has anybody made a flooring template for these?

Nice, I'm glad to see this happen. I will no doubt be in touch whenever I get a hold of a 90 for myself!

You read the part that these are a 2009 limited edition run of only 25, most of which are already sold right?

They even have little SS badges with the production number on them. Not trying to sell you anything... just saying.

Yeah, but didn't you say that if they sell quickly SD might do another run of them? I thought I remembered you saying that before. The badge sounds kinda cool, I look forward to seeing a picture of it when they come in.

Mike,

There shouldn't be any problem mounting the left rear ladder with my early 94-style square tail lights, should there?

No issue at all. It is the same design as was sold by LRNA for all NAS D90s.

SD thinking was that if the 90 racks went well, they would look into further runs of Disco and LR3 racks.
