Safety Device NAS D90 roof racks return

Details to follow as I get them, but chances are now very good that the real deal, made by the original manufacture (SD) is coming back. I had a very productive conversation with Pat Fall from Safety Devices and its looking good.

Working on everything that SD ever made for the NAS Defenders, and Disco and D2 Highlander roof racks.
Nothing set on the other items, but it does look like racks will be coming. As for the roll cage parts and such we haven't finished talks on that yet. You'll know when I know.

Why stop with the racks and roll cages? If you're having that kind of success with the once impossible, let's just keep on pushing for the whole truck.

Mike, do you think they will do both variations of the Disco2 rack (low and high)? A new low version would be tits - I'll need to start saving ASAP.

Racks are nice, but I think people are going to want to start replacing their cages due to rotting foam soon.

Mike, are you going to be able to be involved in selling them, or will it be a dealer thing?

I think cages (both 90 and 110) would be a big seller

Indeed. I was looking at mine the other day. I imagine they would sell abroad also, the rollcage taht CVC and others have is pretty sweet. I dont think there are any companies offering anything for the Defenders etc. I imagine Rovers North and other retailers would be interested also.

You are right about other companies abroad having an interest. There seem to be quite a few in the UK offering "NAS style" conversions.

Stable Energies say that they can get the RBL1727SSS Full External Roll Cage European version of NAS 110 (L37).

Just to clarify.
I'm working on SD for the things they left behind. The NAS D90 roof rack, the NAS 94-97 ST cage (long shot) the NAS 95-97 SW cage and a few other things.

The D90 full external and the D110 full external cage have been, and still are, in production.

The D110 cage differs slightly from the NAS 110 version, but 90% of people would never see the differences.

U mean I can finally get new mounts for my roof rack? I was just getting used to the band clamps that currently hold it on there...

Stephen - the roof rack feet? Haven't they been continuously available? Call Mike at West Chester. I know several people here that have bought new feet in the last year.
