Safari Snorkel on NAS Defender

I have a safari snorkel that is not made for a NAS Defender and was wondering if anybody knows if i can fit it around my heater fan and what all fabs i have to do to get this to work. The role cage is in the way also where it mounts to the fender. Any ideas? I'm all ears.

Yes. There was an owner here on the site who had one installed on his '97 LE. I dont know much details about how he got it all mounted though. I think it was Jeff Gavin? I have some good pictures showing it, at home.

Actually it's Jeff Downs and he has the 300TDI kit. It fit just fine but it stuck to far out that it kept hitting the trees, which kept damaging the snorkel head. Remember those are not designed to work with the NAS cage so you have to get different clamps to attach to the cage. Yes it will fit around your heater box. If you have fender flares you have to slightly trim the Passenger front if not then only tiny portion of the snorkel will stick below the wheel opening.

Look at the owner bio under Jeff Downs.
