I have my fair share of SG accessories and have no gripes. I live 45 minutes away so never had the shipping nightmares I've heard so much about. They did take their sweet time to build something if it wasn't in stock. Sad to see them slowing down as they have set a lot of trends for the Defender world.

Just curious. Who did they buy their stuff from? Where they middlemen or manufacturers?

I always got the impression that they designed the stuff and build the origninals, but the majority of it was produced by others.

I've been in their shop numerous times and there were always at least two guys fabricating something. I've seen a few special projects that they were working on, anything from building roll cages, installing suspension kits to re-assembling a totally legal (that's my story and I'm sticking to it ) Defender 110 Camel Trophy truck. As far as I could tell all of their products were made on site.

Their customer service is notorious for having issues. I tried to order their rear bumper about a year and a half ago for my D2. They charged the CC but the bumper never shipped. No one seemed to know why it had not shipped, when it would be ready, ect. They did credit back the card after about five weeks though.

On a side note, I love their D2 front bumper (the one that allows for 3 Hella Lights).
