I did the freezing my ass thing in college trying to look cool in my Jeep with the top off in December, but I have grown up, a little, since then.

I'm going to try and see how far and can get into the fall/winter w/ the soft top off. If anything it will get me prepared for riding cold ski lifts this winter.

It's been absolutely beautiful with it off for the past couple of weeks. A little cold in the morning but by noon - perfect.

We don't have that kind of issues down here , but we do have hurricanes from time to time.

I have driven my D to..........nowhere, its on jack stands with the tranny out. I did drive my other D to work but since its an auto and bone stock, it dosen't feel like I'm really driving a D. If it dosen't have a stick it dosen't feel like a real rover to me.

Mine hasn't uttered a pop out of the engine in about a month and a half, so don't feel so bad about driving with the top on.

It was 33 two mornings ago here. Just saw the post above is from NH. We know what cold is. My top is still off and my windshield was down this weekend.

I had a Morgan back in the '60s, and I used to run it topless trhough the winter. It was fun hunting for hitchhikers.
