I was working on putting the decker panel back this weekend and put part of my hand through a panel behind the wheel well. I've lost track of where to even start - mine was NOT supposed to be a restoration.
I had a 1954? 86" Series I that I had bought sight unseen - A friend of mine retreived it from the field it had been living in and brought it up to my house. We rolled it off his trailer and into my barn - surprisingly the bulkhead was in pretty good shape but the frame was pretty bad. I kept it for a couple of years and then sold it to a guy in Birmingham who needed the axles for his truck. When he rolled it off his trailer at his house the Land Rover broke in half. I think "Salt Lick" is even rustier than that one.
