Hey Tony, I'm flying out to Wyoming and back in a week or so. Flying back via Denver on the 7th. If other plans fall through, I might be conviced to jump ship in Denver and drive back in a Defender, especially with all the crap on the news about FAA/TSA furlughs and the negative impacts on flying schedules etc.

Abrooks,

When is your truck hitting the road? My 110, formerly Tom's, is at Automotive Alchemy also. She needs to get to Little Rock Arkansas. If it helps bring down you cost I'd jump in if the timing works out.

I have an ad running on uShip in case I miss the ride. Should have some room if anyone needs something moved from Boulder to Little Rock.

Thanks, guys. I have a quote for $950 to ship it back which seems pretty reasonable since I'm figuring gas would be $500 to drive back. Not sure when it'll be ready, I'm waiting on ECR to ship a part out to John to install (ST rear seat), which they haven't done yet, so it's easily 2 weeks until it's ready to go I'd think.

Wait, you still have this truck? Just kidding.

I was wondering who ended up buying that bench seat. Not a bad price for the bench and brackets.

Tony's is the far right. Or to quote a conversation with him on the same photo "Proudly, the most vulgar of the three..."

I can highly recommend Cascade shipping (Glenn on here recommended them to me). Great communication, were right on time and did a great job on both ends. The truck is fantastic, a few small items to deal with, biggest being reinstalling the front seat belts in lieu of the racing harnesses. John really undersold it to me and was, and continues to be, a stand up guy. Even included the full service history! I've done about 50 miles so far and it just keeps getting better!

Same here, I got the initial pic and then he's been quiet. In fact it's almost disconcerting were it not for an email after the stereo install (can't believe he took out the tape deck, I mean, WTF?) and the post about the rear door...otherwise I'd suggest someone drive by and make sure he didn't pass out in rapture in it or something...

In a strange twist for me, I've actually been busy driving my truck rather than web wheeling!
