Having one option doesn't really work...what would you use when the other is down? a quasi domestic vehicle? Hence the need for a handful...a different car for every day...because it sure seems like somethings screwed up every other day on one of mine! (just kidding...or maybe not)

yep....bloody thing only has 5,200 miles on it ORIGINAL....so putting 1,500 miles on it isn't the issue.

I know of no fool willing to do that many miles in a 66 Series truck

Craig... I am going to be picking up my truck from Hamilton, VA within the next 2 weeks. If there is anything I can do to help let me know. Was planning on driving up and towing it back.

RURR from east to west

Just a heads up for all. If I'm not picking up Craig's... then I'm going to be flying up, renting a flatbed truck and hauling mine back from Hamilton, VA also I am going to be going to the Overland Expo in AZ in May.. (right before my sis gets into town from Oahu YAY!) So if anyone wants anything picked up and dropped off along the way let me know..

I wouldn't be afraid to do it. That would be a long drive though...

Thanks for all the thoughts and shouts of help. I found a shipper for $900 - they pick it up today.

I didn't want to chance the drive - all sorts of things can happen in a 50yo truck driving 1,500 miles...and it isn't really mine. Wifey says I should keep it though!! Love her. But she only uses that for the future needs she has... "I let you keep 4 Land Rovers..."

So now I will be looking forward to getting this one done up for my mate. I will put some more pictures of it up on the site.
