RURR Albany to DC

I'm picking up a truck in Albany on the 6th and driving down to DC.

Let me know if I can help.

Guys... Anyone lives near Tom?

He's not going to be able to help me load the RTE bumper tomorrow.

I'm expected to be in the are around 2-3 PM.

Funny. I just asked Jason to load the truck with it.

Worse case, I buy a hitch basket from HF.

I unloded my RTE rear bumper I got from Doug off the Mrs LR3, and you know a scratch in the truck will render me ballless

Now, if you put a scratch on the truck.. I assure you ..you will be praying to just be ballless *LMAO*

Lift with your legs, not with your back.

The RTE was heavy (I think Tom and I were the last to move it) but nothing I'd assume you can't do on your own. From what I remember you'll be in a Disco which has a tailgate that basically spans the entire rear-end of the truck. If I was able to load and unload my ARB front bumper (similar weight) by myself into the D90 (way more awkward than a Disco) at least twice now with a tailgate that is WAY more restrictive than a Disco, you should be fine on your own.
