RTIC coolers?

I just ran across RTIC coolers https://www.rticcoolers.com/. After reading about them and half the price of a Yeti, l ordered a 20 to carry when I don't have room for the Engel. Ordered some tumblers too. I thought some of you may have interest. 3 month lead time in the cooler though...

Are they Car Camping Certified?

They certainly have a marketing genius on their hands.

Regarind the cooler:
"RTIC is half the price and holds more ice"

Regarding the tumbler:
"Half the price and keeps the ice."

Are their coolers made in the US? I see US distribution, but not manufacturing.

Where are your coolers made?
Like other major competitors, the RTIC coolers are made in China in order to provide the best quality at the lowest price to you, the consumer. Just like many of the outdoor products you will buy at your favorite sporting goods store; overseas manufacturing is a cost effective way for retailers to provide an affordable product to its customers.

RTIC Tumblers aren't dishwasher safe,
https://www.rticcoolers.com/faq#made
"How do I clean my RTIC Tumbler?
Do NOT place in dishwasher. Hand wash only. Wash thoroughly before initial use. Do NOT use bleach or cleaners containing chlorine to clean. Do NOT place in freezer. Do NOT place in microwave. Use caution, beverages will remain hot for several hours."

Yeti Rambler Tumblers are
YETI Rambler 20 and 30 oz Drink Tumblers | YETI Coolers
"we over-engineered our Rambler Tumblers with kitchen-grade 18/8 stainless steel and double-wall vacuum insulation. The result is a tough, hard-wearing personal drink cooler that maintains ice twice as long as plastic tumblers — and it works just as well for hot beverages. The lid that keeps your liquid in its place is easy to clean, shatterproof and crystal clear so you know exactly how much of your drink you still have to look forward to. Dishwasher safe."

Personally I see them as the "Santana" of rotomolded coolers. If it comes down to $$$ by all means, get one. If you can spring for a Yeti why wouldn't you?

What a ridiculous case of patent and trademark infringement! Not surprisingly they are being sued by YETI:

Austin-based Yeti sues competitor over ‘confusingly similar’... | www.mystatesman.com

Well now that we are talking about Yeti coolers, my wife bought me a nice accessory for our 50 qt. the Seadeck lid cover. Nice cushion for sitting or standing on.

I'm not hating on Yeti, just thought I would give these a try. Took a pic of my Yeti tumbler. It's made in China too.
