RRC near disaster...

So I pull up in my drive way about midnight this morning after driving for six hours straight, as I'm getting my bag out of the RRC I catch a whiff of petrol...no big deal I thought I'll check it in the morning...

I go out and see a puddle (larger than normal) under the truck and start investigating...turns out the metal fuel line was rubbing against the exhaust...apparently the last time the truck was worked on it wasn't secured...it wore a hole through the line and was leaking directly on the exhaust! It had to have happened just as I pulled into the drive way! Can you imagine driving down the highway pressured fuel on an exhaust...yeah thats all BAD!

Briggs, when Bill burns up in a toxic swirl of starbux residue and petrol fuel, you'll be moving to the mid-atlantic because you'll become my #1 man ho. Pack your bags sunshine. When you're not making me mo' money you'll be turning wrenches.

The motion of the vehicle probably prevented a fire. If you had been stopped it prolly woulda gone up.

Be thankful it didn't catch on fire in your (I'm assuming attached) garage!

That could have turned out much worse than a petrol slick in the driveway.

SHeeeeeeeeeeet!

My lines are crunchy looking… moving this to the top of the to do list. Last RRC I used aluminum fuel line and was not bad to fit.

Yeah when I cut it out I'll post it up...won't be until Tuesday though...I'm leaving on a South West plane with, more than likely the same problem as the RRC they just use military grade tape and change it every night...
