RRC Guys, Show your best girls Rack

Looking to put an expedition rack on the RRC but it won't need to be as heavy duty as my D90...also looking for light options. I want the option of fitting for a tent and I want to do it all right.

My wife drove a white LWB with a Brownchurch rack that looked right to me. I don't have any pics. This was pre-smart phone. Clay

Is that a Surco rack? I think I threw one of those out a few years ago. They are definitely light!

What about those kind of odd looking factory roof racks? I've seen a bunch of them, but not sure who makes them. This is the only picture I found on a quick google search.

Yeah it's a surco. Super light, but pretty strong. I think I bought it from the guy who picked it from your garbage.

See my Registry for pics of the Hunter with and w/o rack.

I think my rack could be called a RoverTym rack because the fellow that built it probably got the steel from Steve.
It's heavy duty.

I like the look of a Classic w/o rack but there's just so many times a rack comes in handy.

I have a rack. It's in my registry pics.. though it's a one off that I got from someone on DWEB. I think the RRCs look great with or without a rack. To each his own.

Nice rack in the post above Clay.

Mine...it is a ROLO rack, made in Australia of course
I don't put anything much up there, only my max tracks, and small stuff as needed. That is what my trailer is for.

The factory rack (not sure who made it, thought it was German manufacture not an SD product) is interesting and doesn't look too bad if you need a rack for a RRC. Difficult to source though. I don't have a lot of good pics of the one that came on a 'replacement' RRC I sourced to a buddy after an, ahem, incident.
