Bill, check out ARB. They make a bitchn rack that look great on a 90. The stance an proportions are tight. I also like how they offer an all aluminum version. One and done.

I like the streamlined functionality of a flat rack - but do prefer the look of a nice big rack

Always prefer things built for speed. Flat can be great if well proportioned and functional.

I too, prefer the look and inherent support of a more streamlined rack, where as overloaded big racks can get a bit too wobbly and top heavy, which, in turn, can really throw off your whole maneuver. You may even toss your load.....

Do you know what fit kit you need for a D90? I know Mike Boggs has one, and it looks awesome.

I seem to find myself tossing my load no matter what rack it is...

That's why you have to stay focused on just the strip in front of you! Or perhaps, it might be bald asphalt or the deep bush, but don't let those large forward obstacles throw you off.

This rack is for the D2 and I'm putting the JB Discovery hard shell RTT on it for my son. My daughter decided the fuel and maintenance cost were too much so she is reliving herself of it. My son wants it (it is really nice) so between now and mid summer I'm going to up grade it to semi expedition class...nothing extreme.

I'm going with the JB Grand Raid Evolution RTT for the D90 next year...it's pretty BA!
