RRC Darién Gap | Octane Magazine, December 2010

Here is a PDF I cut out of Octane Magazine's December issue. The article is about the Range Rover Classic attempting to pass through the Darién Gap. The article has some amazing photos of the truck!

Please save it to your desktops.

Octane is one of maybe three magazines that I'll buy. LRO International (for the porn) and Mountain Flyer (bikes) are the other two. Good stuff.

That's a great article.

It's really funny that somebody actually thought it would be a good idea to send some Corvairs down there.

quite "inarresting".... I had read something similar and related to rovers crossing darien gap. they make brief mention of it on this article. (canadian team).
I thinks it was a series 2A nicknamed la cucaracha carinosa (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dari%C3%A9n_Gape) and a jeep.

Hey, that's what I call my wife!!!

My friend's father crossed the gap in a 1930s Ford Model A (I think in the 60s or 70s). Too bad you can't cross it nowadays.

I'm digging deep for this one! Anyone have a pdf copy of this issue, or an actual print they'd like to sell?

Thanks.
