Looks nice. I like the lower profile versus my SD rack. I'll have to switch out for sure!

I was just thinking the same thing... one of these would look sweet mounted on the cage on my 110.

Shipping to the UK could be a killer though! LOL!

You can cut your rack down.

Pic 2

Decent comparison of the regular SD height in the foreground.

What do you guys want in a NAS 110 basket?
Let me know and we can incorporate it into a 110 design.
Full length, 3/4 length, ???

3-4 inches if I recall. It was a few years ago. I can measure the height tonight to compare.

Out of curiosity
Do you know the exact height of your roofrack?
Or what the overall height of a D90 with a stock suspension and stock size tires with the ECR rack?

Looks great, lower clearance than a safety devices roofrack.

I've got a Gobi Stealth on my fj cruiser and with my lift and tires still gets me in my garage (barely)
would love to get a rack if I could fit the defender in the garage with a roofrack

For reference of the gobi stealth on the fj and my d90.

Thanks!

110 rack: same length as stock SD rack but lower profile, like the one you are building, Mike...

Rack height

For those who asked, what I did was measure from the top of the tub, what we call the top of the tub cap rail (where the roll cage bolts down) to the top of the rack and it is 36 1/8" from there.

I did it this way so that if you have a lift or a stock truck you can make your own accurate measurement no matter what lift you have on your 90 if you measure to the top of your tub and then add 36 1/8" you'll have the total height with the rack on your truck.

If I measure from the ground it could cause issues as all trucks are slightly different.

I will have some finished pictures posted on Friday. It is back from powder coat and on the truck now.

Thanks!!

Prices are unknown right now as we just worked the deal with Safety Devices for them to make the rear ladders and us to make the upper baskets, so the price will hopefully be lower than if we made all the parts here.

Follow-up Post:

Some pix after powder coat

Keep in ind this was a one off prototype. Small changes and corrections will be made on future models.

nice.

fuel being what it is though, id think the rack would be greener if you eliminated the top rail an upped the main body tubes 1/2" in diameter. i took the rail off of my African Outback on the lexus, cause i didnt need it. im a convert to the "properly loaded racks dont need a rail" theory.
