No problem. Flip her back over and she's on her way. It was a kinda anti-climactic roll though. Well, at least from the outside.

It's funny, I just got the June 2005 Issue of Land Rover Enthusiast today and there's a full article on that same expedition... Haven't gotten a chance to read it, I'm dead tired... Maybe I'll scan it in tomorrow.

Rolling on nice soft sand, no pain
Interesting article. Duplicated from an article in Land Rover World about a year ago I think. They changed the words a bit but it's the same expedition. The roll was put down to overloading and too soft a spring.

Mike, if you drive through Moab on the road, you still get that much sand everywhere from the wind

I bet the passenger was shouting "No, no! your right!! The OTHER RIGHT!!"

LOL I bet!

When I went out to Moab with Yousef I must have been lucky, the only sand I picked up was in my sandles.

I'm still finding Sahara dust in nooks and cranies of the 110 from last summers 2 week expedition and theres probably still dust from the expedition 2 years before that! Convoy driving is very dusty if you're not the lead truck.

Just got back from the SCARR2 rally. The dust there is like fine flour. I'll never get the truck cleaned out completely. We were praying for a spot of rain just to get the dust down. At night convoys were so dusty that you were using parking lights because the glare from your lights could be so bad.

I use the air gun to blow dust out of the nooks and crannies before any cleaners or towels are applied. Seems to work well.
