Go to school! You are already way ahead of normal college kids just being more mature as well as being PAID to go to school. I never understood why people who get out are reluctant to go.

Go to school in the winter, work construction or bartend/wait tables in summer and you can get by. Set yourself up to start a career, not a job.

Traditional higher education isn't for you? I'm a huge proponent of skilled trades, where many places have helmets to hardhats programs to help you with an apprenticeship.

On a related note, I can't add much about your truck other than I feel really bad for you about the whole thing. It's a shame to what lengths out govt will go to keep some rusty trucks off the road.

too funny!
I thought Baghdad Bob left us for good? he's back?
I assume he's a US Citizens if he's filing lawsuits, but does he live here or the UK? or in a van down by the river?

One thing's for sure; werewolf is in no way interested in offering his extensive expertise, insider connections and importation savvy to help Kent get his truck back.

Useless taker.

What drives somebody to become something like this? I know a self proclaimed gunsmith that operated in the same way. He died and if I can figure out where he is buried I could retire selling maps to his grave site so people could find it and go piss on it.

This is one of my favorite on Bill Cox. http://classicmotorsports.net/forum/...a/17189/page1/

A couple of my favorite lines;

"Do NOT buy a car from a guy named Bill Cox in NC. He's a crook"

" I have met only ONE person out of a dozen who did not want to punch him in the nose on sight."

Hoopty freaking doo. You want a real challenge, fix your life so people say good things about you instead of trashing you.

you have to admit, for those that were not screwed by this guy, this is kind of entertaining.

It's the "Bill Cox" game! Win some tickets!

How to Detect a Pathological Liar

Here are some ways on how you can detect someone who is a pathological liar: 1. Is He/She Trying to Get Attention?

A pathological liar wants to be in the limelight or center of attention and lying reinforces his feeling of being important. Some possibilities include:
  • Sympathy attention. The liar wants everybody to know his story and exaggerates details to get sympathy from anybody who can hear him, whether it is because of a small or a big problem or incidence in his life.
  • Wants to feel important. This person wants to feel that he is superior to others and lets them know he has a better experience or accomplishment, whether it is a personal or professional aspect.
  • Feels bored. This individual is usually bored when there is no drama in his life, so he fabricates lies that may hurt or affect other people.
  • Insecurity. Pathological liars are usually insecure and they feel they must make up lies about their accomplishments or events in their life to become worthy of attention.

By helping I mean making it happen...like YOU pay this attorney for Kent or else find someone who will. Then actively follow the progress of the case until it is resolved. Since you must already know he's unemployed, just telling him to go pay your chum is not helpful.
Perhaps Kent will be at happy hour this evening where we can actually come up with an action plan. The right people will be in attendance for that.

Maybe we should get back on focus.

Is there really a chance this guy can get his truck back from the "dog pound"
Can we post or relay information that will result in this happening instead of prodding the werewolf to piss on our legs ? Or maybe the werewolf will just post up the contacts here for us all to see so the guy can contact them and get his truck back.

Oh I reread a bit and see that bc did provide contact information for him to get his truck back by email That is helpful

Seems like if this guy could get his truck back it might help get his life back on track after a rough ending for his career in the military. Having a family split up is hard on everyone involved.

Maybe all of us should do the obvious and start talking about getting his truck replaced if he can not have his property back. I would donate some parts and some time and talent if others would consider doing the same to get one of our brothers back on track.

Now that's a good idea! I'd be happy to help out in any way I can.

I would like to urge the facility where this initially happened to provide some support on this endeavor and participate if this becomes the solution. Where could this guy build his truck? Seems like the best medicine for him, a big project to keep his mind off things. And a job of course. We will have to build a pipeline of parts to him. And try to keep it on par with what he is replacing in my opinion.

I would chip in some money to help. The series community really helped me after my wife and I's accident all those years ago.

Maybe we could start a legal fund?
