Roof Rack bulk order

I am in the process of getting a quote for a custom roof rack for a double cab truck. The guys at http://www.urbanoffroad.us/ seem to make nice stuff: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LAND-...item35ae191f5c

If anybody is interested in going in on a group purchase (East Coast) it would bring down the price quite a bit. Please let me know if there are any DCPU or 130's interested in this (Doug...hint...hint). These could be lengthened to fit 90's as well.

Would be nice if their website wasn't full of Lorem Ipsum and showed their gear instead.

I have a Hannibal flat rack for double cab and big Eezi Awn to match, so I'm out. In fact, may be selling the new, uninstalled, Hannibal double cab rack if anyone is interested.

I was one of Derek's @ Urban's first customers on the East Coast. I converted a soft top to sw and couln't find a SD rear ladder. Had him make me one of his. Fit great and was very well made.

I have one for my 90 that the previous owner designed and had Urban Offroad custom make to fit an eezi awn. I havent put the rack on, but its in like new shape and is probably 3 years old. Looks to be nice quality and worth the money.

Personally, not a huge fan of roof racks and roof top tents on the east coast, or at least in tree heavy trails around Virginia. But, i got a cream puff starbucks ride apparently so it probably wont be seeing heavy offroading.

If the rack is built right (not the SD shopping basket), then the rack can be an advantage on a tree covered trail. I make my racks so you can lean your truck against trees and protect your roof lines.

Been there done that- Shrek had some white oak "contours" on the upper rails.

I've got a nice aluminum version that might be better suited for your Prius.

They seem to have a good reputation on making good parts, once I get a quote and if I decide to move forward I will keep you guys posted. His prices seem very fair when comparing to others.
