Rock sliders: Rockware or Mantec

Looking to get some rocksliders for the 90. Want them under the tree on Christmas as I plan to put relatives to work to help install.

Thinking Mantec or Rockware. I have a Rockware front bumper and wished I woulda gone powder coat on them. Don't know if that's a good idea for the rocksliders as if I scrape them up I can rattle can back. The Mantecs are slightly cheaper and I can probably get them from RN by Christmas. Don't know how quick I can get the Rockwares. What are the opinions here? Do you really use the Jack points on the Mantec? Do you get some sort of attachment for a highlight to go in there? Thanks

I have no issues with the Terrafirma sliders, most venders stock them

Doesn't Ron have some SG sliders? I'd get those and rattle if necessary.

Rockware will be better quality and more stout.

Mantec doesn't attach to the frame very well, as most don't. This makes them simply beefed up sills over sliders.

I personally like and use the jack points as they are a positive connection between the Hi-Risk jack and the truck.

On several trucks I just bought Mantec or TF and them added frame mounts.

Rock Ware makes awesome sliders. On top of that, you're supporting an American small business that produces consistently high-quality product (unlike Mantec).

I just wish Matt would make some for the 110...

Yes! Agreed. I'll email em and see if he has some on the shelf. Christmas or not, it's just more convenient and I don't need them by then. If needed I can wait to support an American small business. Valid point. Thanks for advice.

Rockware makes good stuff, and like others have said, they're a small business and made in the USA. The same can't be said for a lot of these other "cheap" sliders which are made from garbage material, overseas, and have poor finish work...

If I had a defender, I'd be saving for a set of carter's. Otherwise I like the rockware, as well as our newly designed sets.

Zack, do you have any good pics how your new style 110 attaches? I used to run your old style with removable side step on my 90 and really liked them.

Thanks for the plug, but I don't wanna poach. Rockware makes top notch stuff as well, I've owned several of their pieces over the years.

Sliders

The mounts on those look pretty sturdy. How much for a 110 set shipped to Phoenix? 85142.

Thanks,

Jesse
