RIP Steve Meszkat (Steve Mez)

I am sorry to bring sad news.
One of our forum members has passed away. I met Steve only once, but it was enough to know he was a nice guy and an avid defender owner. My prayers to his family.

Man, that's a real shame. I spoke with him a bit back when that NAS 110 was for sale out on LI; real nice guy from our few conversations. Didn't realize we were both the same age. My thoughts are with his friends and family.

I had the pleasure of talking to Steve many times over the years about our products and Land Rovers in general. So sad to hear the news of a life that ended way too early.

saw this in the local paper and thought it was a forum member but was uncomfortable bringing it up as I had never met him. He was in a 2011 S4.. a car guy through and through. Very sad.

Says a foundation will be established in his memory. Would be cool to do an offroading event to raise money for it.

That is really a great idea. Maybe a car show can/will be put together in his memory to help pay tribute to one of his great passions, and raise money for his foundation as well.
