I applied to work with these guys and did not get the job but they are having this event whos going?
I might have to bring up the trek
In 1980, the international Camel Trophy teams conquered some of mother nature’s most treacherous off-road terrain. Over the next two decades the world-famous event evolved from a mud-plugging expedition to a grueling adventure sport aimed at testing human endurance and pushing the limits of vehicle capability. While the event is no longer active, the legacy of these explorers proudly carries on. We are thrilled to be bringing you the opportunity to revisit these remarkable events.
Partnered with Northern California Land Rover Club, we’ll be offering a free one-night event on Friday followed by a weekend pop-up museum where you’ll be able to see first-hand Land Rover and Camel Trophy vehicles, memorabilia, and listen to special guest speaker, Duncan Lee, former Camel Trophy Event Manager from 1982-1993.
Join us Friday, 20160129 at 1800 Pacific at our Dogpatch Base for drinks, community, and education about the history and future of overland travel. Our museum will be open all weekend following the event through Sunday, 20160131, at 1900 Pacific.
