An S Corp is like a partnership in that it is a pass-through entity for income tax purposes, but it is a corporation in that its shareholder(s) are accorded the protection of limited liability.

Safari Gard

To all concerned please read our press release that I posted on this site. I am the CEO of Safari Gard, and My corporation did not finalize purchasing SG until October 1 2008. We did not open for official business until January 7th 2009. I noticed someone saying that they spoke to me in the summer of 2008, this did not happen, we were in escrow at the time, and were preparing to take over management when escrow fell out. Like I said, we did finalize escrow in October 1 2008. As for Mary, Sterling Auto Sport and their relationship with Safari Gard, this was something implaced by the previous owner and not the Current Corporation. The current Corp. has no business relationship or ties to those mentioned. Please let me know if you are notified by anyone claiming to represent Safari Gard, other than myself. We have taken very good care of all customers since we have been in business. I have even supplied missing parts to people who were not fully equiped by the previous owner, and this was at no charge. I am very compassionate about customer service and quality control. Please contact me if there are any questions or concerns.

Very Respectfully,

Casey Gray

A+ from me for safari gard... They finally took care of my friend after the original company failed to deliver on time (been 2-3 years since original order was placed).. I know it was cash out of their pocket that they didn't need to do.. but it was definitely worth it, because it proved that Casey is serious about rebuilding the brand name... and when I'm ready (and when they take the black squares off the pictures), I will be going to SG for mods for my LR3...

After speaking to Casey 2 weeks ago when he posted that thread about SG being back in business I was still a bit skeptical. As like all of you the old SG gave us little hope, horrible communication and even fake tracking numbers! Casey assured me that they were a new business that took on the Safari Gard name. Mary and Sterling and the old owners of Safari Gard have nothing to do with it now. Which I told him was a very good thing and something we should know about. MARY DOES NOT WORK FOR SAFARI GARD ANYMORE!

I told Casey I was missing two end plates to my 3-link that I have been waiting for around 2 years now. He sends them out no charge and they got here last night! Not only did they get here, but also they were packed in a box with stickers and a very nice business card.

I was maybe one of the most skeptical people on this forum about Safari Gard as I was out $1000 dollars for a very long time. At this time now I feel like Casey the owner of the NEW Safari Gard is making it better. Though the name SG still brings a bad shiver down our backs, I think we will get to know them as a good vendor for Land Rover products and I hope Casey keeps up the good work.

Thanks again Casey,

OK, my turn to put in a good word for Mr. Gray. My story, like others, is a long one and doesn't need to be replayed here. After months of becoming more and more frustrated with the interim SG people, I contacted Casey when he made his post here. After explaining the history of my order he said he would deal with the other folks and get started on my (custom) bumper straight away. He did just that, communicated well and even sent a few pics prior to sending out for powder coating. He was always easy to reach, helpful and eager to please.

Thumbs up from me.

I am liking this good feed back. My personal opinion was that SG had a lot of great D90 stuff. My 3-link has needed new bushing for almost 3 years now and after SG burned me on another matter, I was steering clear of them for good trying to find another source. I need to give them a call in the next few days and get me some bushings!

Then all I have to worry about is how to get them installed before SCARR.
