Renting a Defender

Random Question

I am traveling to England and Scotland in early June and am trying to convince someone traveling with me to buy a defender. I thought what would be better than driving a Defender through the english countryside to convince someone to purchase one. Does anyone know of a place in London area that rents Defenders? Or does anyone on here or know someone that would want to rent their defender from June 8 - 13 living in the London area or around there? Could turn out to be a potential buyer if you are a seller.

The only company that I know is SBH 4x4. They hire out all types of 4x4s usually to companies but I think they also hire to individuals. Give them a try... John

Another thing to think about is the year of the vehicle you are renting...

A 2014 Defender is a lot nicer inside that an older one. (and this one is a nice 97 )

Call Stuart Foley @ Foley Sv. He and his brothers used to rent fully kitted trucks to people who wanted to do the London to Cape Town run by themselves. Seems like a local rental would be a walk in the park after that.

I've used Aberdeen 4x4 for Scotland. Great service.
