Reference for Local Breweries

Va Beach, VA USA
10 - Over the Top
Pleasure House Brewing, Shore Dr.

I am so glad that VA has finally woke up to having easy access to high quality beer selections, often produced by small going concerns that have over the top brews. Belgian Triples, Vanilla Porters, Wits, Saison, Farmhouse, Heffies, Stouts, and all those over Hopped IPAs, and Lagers. Even the mediocre ones are much much better than the main stream massed produced Buds and Coors. Then with time, the quality of each brew gets dialed in with improvements as the Brew Masters gain experience at the small brew pubs. Growlers, Crowlers, and now the ability to infuse carbonation are adding value. In summary, improvements in technology, a change in VA law to allow small brew pubs focused on beer (NOT FOOD), the experience gained by the new brewers, and the embraced public developing a refined palate for fine beers has created a wonderful environment for access to quality brews in the Commonwealth.

So for this thread, please format your post for easy reference by others:

Line 1 (Location: City or County, State, Country)
Line 2 (Rating - Over the top is a 10, down to a 1 - not so good, with a 5 being average)
Line 3 (Name of Brewery)

Below a paragraph on you comments what ever comments you write, see above as an example.

Note Pleasure House Brewing is a real 10, not just an example...
