Funny... Are we on the same list?

"What I know I picked up from NVJA's forum after John Crowe told me
about it.
It's private property behind the commuter lot in Woodbridge. I believe
the
park is accessed through either the commuter lot or the road that leads
to it. Because of that there is a mandatory vehicle wash required when
exiting the park, which they charge $5 for I think.
They have organized runs on a regular basis, with the odd night run
thrown
in as well. Cost is around $30-$40 maybe, with the vehicle wash
included in that.
It's mostly hills, tight trees and mud.
Street legal vehicles only, I believe for insurance reasons. I'm not
sure if you can trailer in a street legal rig.
They have food available for a small fee during the organized runs,
just hot dogs and drinks.
I doubt that it's Jeeps only.

That's all I got, which is from a thread on NVJA's forum in the trail
ride section.

I'm really starting to dislike the mid-atlantic more and more. All the outdoors here are so overregulated and poserish. I miss the big wide open out west.

You lost me at "through the commuter lot". It's like coming back from Animal Kingdom in Orlando and saying you just finished a safari.

Not a slam on you guys, but rather a slam on where we live.

Agreed. The rocky mountains were full of trails that all you needed was time and fuel.

Lets put something together! It's the closest wheeling to most of us by 2 hours, even if it as at the end of the commuter lot. Hell, years ago we used to wheel in hunting creek Behring the beltway sound walls and it was a blast! Beats web wheelin

Subscribed. Though the thought of running over a Prius in the commuter lot sounds like it could be more fun.

I am with Nathan. Even if it is bad wheeling - it is still wheeling. I will be watching this space.

even though you have to pay to play... its cheap and not hours away. From the few jeeper guys videos, it may be decent, if one was to go after a good rain.

Do you think we can bring kids? I guess I could check the FAQs.

Ah, I guess I won't be going as I don't have a kid that's even close to 8.

I added a poll to see about numbers. I'll email them to see if there is a minimum number of vehicles that we need for a closed session.
