Red SW with red wheels

I was driving to work this morning (Los Angeles) when I saw the red SW with red steel wheels again. This time I decided to follow it instead of going to work.

Nice truck
Full roof rack basket
snorkel
Red steel wheels
ARB I think bumper

Does it belong to anyone on the board. Driver didn't see me behind him in my truck.

There was one of those in Boston for sale a year or two back. Wonder if it's the same one. Seems to me it had been through ECR at some point.

Yeah, I am pretty sure the one on Ebay is the same one that sold on Ebay about a year ago and did indeed go through ECR. If you dig through their site you will see it somewhere. It is a well built truck, and seems to keep changing hands without anyone knowing its history.

I gotta disagree on that.
The truck did come to ECR for accident damage repair and a few other odds and ends back in 1999 I think, but since then it has been wrecked at least twice (they called us to do the repairs but in the end had it done locally... twice) and was "well used" by the younger gent who owned it. We only saw it once and the owner did not let us do all that needed to be done on the 90.
Thats about as "PC" as I can say what I want to say.

If the driver couldn't recognize you in a Land Rover they probably don't know what they're driving. I pass many Series 2 Discos and the newer products and never get a wave. They don't know what a Defender is

Completely agree. It doesn't look right on the station wagon.

Yet, I think the red Nato's and SS's on the '94 soft top that ECR did (on their website) looks really good...

I still think it's a cool look.. I'd like to see how the matching wheels would look on Coniston truck.
