Red Steel Wheels

Had a random idea today and was curious....I have never seen a portofino red wagon with red steel wheels. I was wondering if anyone here has seen one or has one? I was hoping maybe to see a picture, as I think it might be a cool thing to switch to. If anyone has a link or a picture please post it.

Hey Christian

Here is a link for what you are thinking of. Its a soft top but it has the wheels color matched. I just put color matched 110 wheels on my coniston green defender and I like it alot. Your would look good, that is the other color that I would color match that would be noticable.

Thanks guys, don't want to bastardize your former vehicle Art, let me know what you think. Kicking it around at this point. Also thinking about painting the centers red and the inner rim black. At any rate, if anyone else has some input let me know. I like the alloys, the deep dish on it now, but think it is cool change and doesn't look like many people have done it.

Christian, have fun with it, it's your vehicle.
I used to run two sets of wheel/tires on my first D90, because I used it as a daily driver and actually wheeled that D90 during the warm months. I never went to a second set on the '97 because it rarely got off pavement and when it did, there wasn't much chance of damage.

Regards,
