Red Bull Kluge

Really cool video that Red Bull put out showing a bunch of their athletes in action. Should be something enjoyable in there for any red blooded American boy:

Macaskill's front flip drop was sick

Drew B's fufanu to ladder trigger was clever

The offroad racing truck camera angles made me really want to drive one of them

Slick how they had Rhys Millin set off the gates

Robbie Madison's launch to 1/4 was by far the burliest thing on there especially given that he linked it to that next jump without much room in the LZ.

Would have been cool to see Pat Moore ride.

And nothing wrong with Lolo Jones - I think it's cool that she is sponsored by Red Bull.

My brothers and I were watching this video at Thanksgiving and we were blown away by Macaskill's drop, Madison's transition launch which was just huge (over the top of the warehouse) and Rhys Millen with the spiral drift and precision to hit the gate paddles. Great job by Red Bull.

Agree - being into alt sports since I was a kid I like how Red Bull does things. They always seem to have the coolest contest - out of the norm stuff which goes hand in hand with these sports/activities.

Yeah Madison boosted that - I would like to see the tranny on the first landing - looked steep. Dope that it was a hip instead of a straight shot - loved how the filmed it too.

Macaskill...dude is too good.

That was probably the most epic video ever compiled.

Red Bull most be known far more for their association with extreme sports than as an energy drink.

I wasn't as surprised by Macaskills drop as that dude never ceases to amaze, but that tranistion over the warehouse was what got me, jaw drop.

Yeah, he is sooo good - mix of a lot of disciplines: flatland, street, some park and of course trials. Out of all those guys I would probably come closest to doing the same run/line as his in that vid save obviously for the front flip drop to flat (although maybe into foam )

I searched but wasn't able to confirm if it was or not. If so, that is totally absurd as each athlete had some crazy stuff that just a little mistake would mess it all up.

Here is a behind the scenes right off Red Bull's site. The MB film car is pretty awesome. That trophy truck is 800HP @ around 4,000 lbs - crazy. Link:

2 things after watching that vid:

1. I'd have trouble riding that skinny Macaskill did so easily. I thought it was a bit wider. Should have know it was only a piece of 1.5" black pipe.
2. Robbie Madison is an ape. Loved how he thought hipping over a building wasn't enough.

Reminds me of the Honda Cog advert. Both are great adverts in their own way.
