Need to have a truck transported from gig harbour...just outside of Seattle to North Carolina... Anyone have any contacts or going that way...

I use Intercity Lines to ship all of my cars and have moved many cross country before. I just used them a few weeks ago to get my D90 from LA to Miami. They are the best. Not the cheapest, but all-enclosed and the best.

Auto Transport Company | DAS | Dependable Auto Shippers

Dependable Auto Shippers. Their Terminal to Terminal option will save you money. I shipped a DiscoII from Orlando to Denver that way and was very happy with them.

Athena is in your neck of the woods. She saved me quite a bit of money and she understands "Defenders". I used her based on recommendations from this forum. "athenahall@msn.com" 954-929-2040

I used DAS to get the yellow Range Rover from CA to VA. You can schedule an exact pickup date which was nice for me. Basically they send out a tow truck to pick up the vehicle and take it to one of their terminals. I took me over a month to get the truck, but I wasn't in any rush. I know it sat in GA for over a week before they brought it to the terminal in VA.

I can highly recommend Jacobs Deliverance. He has an individual flat bed trailer. He has been an excellent service for me.

I used uship.com and moved 2 defenders, a disco 2, and an RX7 by 3 different trucking companies. From NC to WA.

For most cross country hauls, the flat bed setup with 1-2 cars is not economically feasible for either the hauler or the customer. Typically, 10 car haulers make this trip to reduce the per car cost. Per the hauler I use, the going rate from Seatlle to Raleigh should be on the range of $700-1100 wholesale.
