I say do whatever you want. Only becomes an issue if you decide to sell. Even then, just about everything can be undone.

I have only directly dealt with three "shop" people on the board and MY experience with each to date has been superb:

Trevor Griffiths (PA) (one prior truck (rrclwb) and the current truck (d2) - super nice)
Dale Knepp (NC) (on current project (110nas) - super nice)
PT Schramm (IN) (to likely be stuck dealing with me in the future, so I called him and he's super nice)

I've had nothing but good luck with Lucky 8, RN, AB, and BPUtah too.

And, I have put a lot of stuff on a 110 and painted it tan (left roof and wheels alone) from NAS white...just something I feel...plan is to drive this one a long, long time. Fun is part of the equation. They're just things, objects - although they are really cool ones.

'94 NAS90 to 110Tdi wagon, and as stated -tan with Alpine roof/wheels and black NAS110 cage- purdy!!

More to come Barry, but many of the parts are from your side of the country- I think I bought three in the last year in pieces from the left coast.
