reason to drink beer

A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers."

Going to feel all day. "

explained by Cliff Clavin, of Cheers. One afternoon at Cheers, Cliff Clavin was explaining the Buffalo Theory to his buddy Norm.

Eh, a little of column A and column B.

It basically addresses the role alcohol should or shouldn't play in both sponsored & non sponsored groups. I believe there is something about raffle tickets too.

Have a read here. It's a bit long, but you'll get the gist of it.

The raffle ticket thing is REALLY stupis. Only an idiot would carry on so much about not getting his 5 free raffle tickets that no one else got either.

The alcohol thing is more legit, but it too has been blown way out of proportion. My take on it is that is more of a personal thing between John Lee and Joe Nosal. There have been valid points I think from both sides.

Oh man you should read the whole thing.

Most of it reads like a WB drama.

One particular individual stands out. They appeared to be irritated at just about everything & everyone. I couldn't stop laughing at their posts. The core of the list just kept laying into him (most did just to get a response), but then Mount Vesuvius would retort with an eruption of four letter-words.

Itís an instant classic

Okay,

On your recommendation I tried. I just couldn't. When people started talking about how tuff they were for running green trails, I had to give up. Plus, it seems like they were mostly upset about drinking on the trail and I thought most of the problem was the party back at camp. I just don't get it.

Damn I'm glad I don't have to wheel in California.

Drinking on the trail sucks, I've seen some really stupid moves. On remote trails, everyone is put in jeopardy with a buzzed driver. The drunk? who rolled shoud have been left tits up until sober.

Nobody rolled this year, drunk or sober. And I am pretty sure people drink outside of California.

Yeah, but it's the crowds and the whiners that are worse than the drunks.
