I saw that too...he is a crazy guy...funny as hell (or at least the writers). I like the stylish ankle accessory the most. If you're going to be confined a little style doesn't hurt!

IIRC, Land Rover left the US in the early seventies, came back as Range Rover North America in 1987 and may only have only become LRNA recently? I also think that they only copywrited "Rover" in 2008, several years after I started Roverlab. But, as they had the deeper pockets, I'm the one who had to change. Sorry, that's another thread....
Jeeps are everywhere and if I'm driving my tall, snorkeled, beat up Disco 1, I'll wave to anyone with something distinctive. Can't even get a notice from another Rover owner when I'm in my LR3....

It went from RRNA to LRNA in 1993 with the arrival of the defender and plans for the 90, Disco

Waves are always reciprocated with Disco folks and most Jeepers but the new RR folks have absolutely no interest, clue or care for fraterni(z)ing with us mere Defender 'plebs'.

After a productive weekend in the country I parked my Classic beside a new supercharged HSE . the owner came out made a snide remark, I reciprocated with "its not for my ego what have you done with yours" it was pretty well priceless. I see a big body Range about every third stop light, I cant throw a cat and not hit a RRS.

Land Cruisers out number Rovers 5:1, talk about a group of people that have no idea.

Snide remark? That's the problem with the new bread of Rover owners - no respect for their elders.

Same thing around this area - L322 very common (including the one my wife drives) and RRS all over the place.

There are a few RRC around and I love seeing them. They have such a classic look that still draws eyes. If I'm in my 90 I'll wave to them but I think I confuse them a bit.

Red I drive an RR HSE daily and I'd wave at you (in your 90)

If you drove by in that Series 1 in your profile pic I would run you down and bend your ears for hours

Funny, there's a guy that drives around town in a white SW that I would wave to from my white ST and he never returned the favor. that's some self absorbed shit right there.

I'm assuming you've stalked him properly by taking photos in the middle of the night of his truck, number plate, chassis, and interior? And also left cryptic notes on his truck? I've done both . Surprised none of us have restraining orders on us actually.

I randomly wave to Jeep guys, but to be honest most of them do this strange pretend I don't see you thing. I think they secretly lust after the Defender.
