Ready to part...

I'm honestloy thinking about selling or trading my Defender. I've had my fill of the noise and odd-end repairs popping up every other month. How should I go about doing this since I still owe a little on the car? Financed with my bank...

It's got a few dings and dents here and there, but she's in good condition otherwise.

Don't do it. You'll regret it. If you decide you must, send me a pm with the details. I might have a buddy in easley that is interested.

How much $ do you need to get out of it , Dan?

They (Defenders) can certainly have their idiosyncrasies...
Try driving a SIII for a while!
I couldn't do it.

Back to the luxurious comfort of my '91 RR!

I have never sold a car I owed money on, but I am sure it's easy since it's done all the time. But the fool proof way is to pay it off and get the title in hand.

Of course the right answer is don't do it - just buy a beater as a daily driver.

Or as Jeff says, borrow a series for a while and your 90 will feel like a cadillac!

I'd take $18,500 for it... It has a small list of things that need to be fixed (heater core and more than likely the A-frame ball joint), so I feel that's a more than fair price... I'm really not sure of the current market value of these things... I have a buddy that's going to give me some numbers tomorrow. 154,xxx miles...
