Range Rover parts help

Who is "the man" for good used Range Rover Classic parts out there? We are doing one for an old customer and its been a long time since we needed Classic parts, so we need a little help on who to call for good used bits.

Thanks in advance.

Paul and Will have been great to me over the years, quick shipping, good prices and excellent customer service.

Mike,

That covers the field. One other person to look at is Roverdude who posts here as he has some west coast trucks he is parting out.

Looking forward to seeing the pictures on the website.

No pix going on the site, sorry (maybe a couple on the Facebook page). This is a long standing customer that has done many trucks with us, so I couldn't tell him "Defender only", but if I put pictures on the site we will start getting RR Classic repair calls again.

Mike, it seems like there would be need for RRC restoration as well. I know you are backlogged with Defenders as I'm on the list but have you considered doing both?

Correct. We did everything with a Land Rover badge up until about 6 years ago (or so). The shop was too busy and trying to keep the inventory for all types of Rovers was crazy, so we specialized into Defender as that was the model we all liked best and found the most fun to build.

We did a number of RR Classic rebuilds over the years, but it isn't something we will ever go back to.

I hope someday to get back to Series Rovers, but where the time for that will come from I have no idea.

Horsey,

Again you are so helpful. Now are these links that you have personally used with all your range rover classic parts purchases? Please tell us out of the three who has the best customer service.

Horsey,

Never question why I post or I will start up this type of mockery on every one of your helper posts where you are so quick to throw in comments on things you have zero experience with.

Back to the subject at hand I would like to see the range rover too as you work on it.

If it is up on FB I'm sure you will be the first to let us all know its progress.

And yes, I have personally spoken with or bought from all three of those people I listed and was passing along the leads as RRC parts suppliers. I have also been to Randy's place (his old place) and saw all of the RRCs he was taking apart and know he had quite a stash.

Do you know how hard it will be for me to update that page again knowing this.

I've gotten some hard to find stuff from John aka Roverdude on this and other forums. He mostly deals in Range Rover Classics and is the best source I've found, especially if its an earlier Range Rover. Prices are very reasonable, and being that he's in Socal, the trucks are all rust free and dry.

This is exact reason I don't use Paul Grant. "Slight rust" means something different on the East Coast than the rest of the country.
