I have a Polo outlet store near me, and your truck was on a 10 foot poster on the side of the building in the window.
I tried to get a picture, but it was too damn big. Nice job.

They're BFG Mud-Terrain T/A KM's but I don't know where he found 16" 35's.

They were either Interco LTB's or TSL's of some sort I think.

As far as I know mine is the only D90 to grace the pages of Playboy. It was the June 2000 issue, before I owned it.

Shawn can you please take a photo of it if you can!!! I would love to see it. Actually if you can go in and ask them if you can have it that would be better 50 bucks?

Please steal it. I am going to the polo outlet near me this weekend to try to see if they have it.

Wes,

That's Bill Turpin's truck from Northern CA. Great rig. Did you get the trailer with it?

Doug,
Thanks, I really enjoy the time and toys he put on the vehicle. He did an excellent job.
I did not get the trailer that Bill had to go with it. When I bought the rig it was not part of the deal nor did the previous owner know who had it. Come to find out, he had it all along and then tried to sell it to me. If anyone is interested he has it and I can put you in touch with him. I think he said around $3K, but it is fully outfitted and I beleive he still has most of the items Bill sold it with.

Wes

Ron try to get one for me. Feed them some line of bullshit like, "The truck belongs to John Mayer (show them a photo of John and his truck) and I am his Philly rep and he would really appreciate it if you would let me have it" or something like that.

Ralph Lauren Poster at Myrtle Beach

I saw the poster back in the fall, a dude that looked a little like Tom Brady was standing in front of the D90. It was a large , I would say 8-10 foot poster right on the front of the POLO store window. I was in Myrtle Beach ,SC, and my son and I just starred in awe (?) for like 5 minutes. Everyone that walked by was like what are you guys checking out. Really cool!!

Ralph Lauren photo shoot Part II: Revenge of the Models

I got another call for a RL shoot. Basically the same shoot, out in Montauk, with the same dude as a model and a way hotter girl this time around. the production team came out to inspect the truck and the women running it looked at it and said "OK the top needs to come off and so does that hideous rack!" I told her the rack looks great! She said "you have an hour to take it all off"

Gulp, so I alone took the rack off. I don't know how many of you have taken off the rack on a stock truck but it is a pain in the ass. Now lift your truck up around 6-7 inches and try it. I nearly busted a hernia getting that thing off. oh yeah, and I was under an hour. too bad they didn't shoot my truck til 5pm. I basically waited around the whole day.

Lucky for me though, Tom's (tomaco1) brother was on the shoot and we ended up shooting the shit the whole day and he helped me put the rack back on. I honestly think it is impossible for one person to put it back on. He was a cool dude and we cracked jokes all day in his RV about the DB fashion people.

Notice the Christmas tree on top of the roll cage... no straps... top off... what time of the year is this? who are these people?

Yeah they look big in the 2nd pic for some odd reason.

The truck was beat this time around. coming off the winter, the windshield has a huge crack in it. missing right wiper, spilled 75-90 gear oil on the passenger side foot area, greasy carhartts in the back. It was a mess. But they gave me double the money this time around! And no weirdos to drive out there with! So overall it was good.

Awesome shoot. Was this Tom's brother?

I've said it once and I'll say it again. If you had put the wood sill trims on the truck before heading out there I doubt they would have even noticed you had a rack! I want to be in one of these; something along these lines.
