Apparently "Jerry" Lauren owns the defender.

It would have been nice to know that they were having this event (well, rather that those trucks would be there) BEFORE the event actually happened.

I would have ventured up to 888 Madison Avenue to snap a few pics.

Here are some additional pics. The pic with the 3 dudes are Ralph, Jerry, and Lenny Lauren.

Neither. You're thinking of Jon Winningham's 110 which was (from what I remember) a hail damaged 110 that he had refurbished and painted Beluga Black in the process.

That was probably it, the one in Florida. Think it was matte black or green. Thought they advertised it as being RL's 110.

I do - that's why I started wondering why you were talking about ft. myers when that truck was Tommy Hilfiger. I can't tell what color this NAS 110 is in front of Ralph Lauren but it looks black to me.

I heard Diane Keaton's was painted in Los Angeles. That's why I asked. I can't see the rivets behind the doors to tell.

From what I have heard through the grapevine, the Lauren's NAS 110 was the only one painted black from the factory.

According this page on ECR's website, there was only one '93 D110 painted Black from the factory, and it was for RL.

I can confirm that RL himself puts around Montauk/Amagansett each summer in that 110. Its nice to know that its not just living in a garage.
