Talking Rainforest Challenge.

Just got back from Malaysia for the 10-day expedition competition... Sorry to say that only 2 Land Rovers competed and we weren't one of them. The Brits' vehicle was a 2.8TGV powered 90 with propane injection (you wont miss it in the pictures below). Torque anyone? What a ride! Got hooked up with Land Rover Club of Singapore (2 D110's and 1 D90 TD5's) which happened to be ESPN's press vehicles. Met some fantastic green-blooded people. Glad to be back in Cool & Dry California! Anyone doing a desert run?

Check-out some pictures...

David,

Great to hear from you. Ron met-up with us and stayed for the opening celebration and the first part of the prologue. That 2.8TGV is something else. Andy the owner of the 90 is a pretty amazing guy. Imagine propane injection? I gotta have me one of those! Mud? Yes, nasty and tons of leeches. They had a few River SS's... (read rock garden underwater).
