Quick Opinion Needed Powder Coat or Paint Alloy NAS 3rd Brake Light Bars

Just picked up the aluminum NAS 90 3rd Brake Light Bars.

All but one will be going to D-90 guys (and gals I guess).

Powder coat them or epoxy paint?

I'm personally not a big fan of powder coating (because it can't be spot repaired) but if thatís what the masses want then so be it.

Etch primer and paint, unless you can do black anodized.

Black anodize(?) is what on US military weapons. But I think that primer and paint is the easiest way to go cause then you can just rattle can the bar when you remove any paint.

Except these are not heavy wear items are they? I have seeing "bluing" of anodized aluminum so I'd powdercoat if it were me.

I do not check PMs. Call or email if you need something.

ECR is not a parts source. We are not in the mail order business.

I have a lot of parts on my bikes that are black ano and they do get a bluing effect if in the sun too much and or from the elements.

On the PC side, I had a beat up light bar that I bought on here, stripped it then powdered semi-gloss a couple of years ago and it still looks great.

Paint.

I'm slowly starting to hate powdercoating, especially when it starts falling off in big flakes.
