Yeah when I saw this thread, my first thought was "That lucky bastard got to see a sneak preview". LOL

I love the bond movies and this one looks like it's going to be good.

I saw it last weekend.... good action film (although not quite as easy to follow as other Bond fillums.)

I couldn't believe it when within 3 minutes of the start a TDCi 90 gets trashed (OK, so the Aston getting trashed was also sad! LOL!)

then the 110 SW later on.

I saw a show on the making of this movie and they went thru 8 Astons. My sons mouth fell open that they would trash more than 1 on purpose. Damn stunt men couldn't get it right.

Saw the movie last night. It sucked, btw....

90 police car in the first scene in a car chase. Shown for a little while before it hits a wall and rolls multiple times down a hill, which they show. The one in the trailer is a 110 SW. It is shown fully before the very fake looking crash and explosion.

Just saw it. Liked it other than the too-close and too-fast camera angles (I'm getting old I guess). But I am a sucker for Bond flicks.

I love Bond flick as well. But, THAT was not a Bond flick. There was nothing in it that says "Bond". Just a mediocre action flick.

Hi Neil,
This is slightly off topic - but since you seem to be a gun tottin' guy I thought you might know the answer. I haven't seen the movie yet (only trailers) but what is the short machine gun with the long silencer 007 uses in the movie?

Thanks

The movie sucked. The fact that his "bond" car was a hydrogen powered ford edge should tell you all you need to know.

Ron

PS several rovers were harmed during the shooting as such it is not to be viewed by the squeamish among us.

Defenders are like black guys in the movies. Always first to get killed off.

It's a Heckler & Koch MP5 with silencer.

They're used the world over by military and police forces, and come in various flavours (snub nosed, small silencer, long, telescopic stock/folding stock etc)

9mm ammo.
