Purists, don't look here!!!

So,

I debated posting this over here as I know its a different crowd, but, I know there are a few people who might get a kick out of what I finished up with. And yes, this is as far as I am going to take it! I love having a D-90. I wanted to keep it looking like a D-90 and I think I have been successful. It went through some growing pains, but is still very much a Rover. So after a rediculous amount of work, here it is. Flame away!

I don't have time to resize the pics down, sorry.

Not crazy about the rear end but definitely like the front.
What size of rims/tires are you running ?

Speechless ....

Just an awesome piece of work. I really like the hidden winch and the whole front fenders. Roll cage is just something in its self. Nice simple dash.

WOW, just plane wow !

But are you really done ... I'm sure you'll find something else to add.

Could we get some under the hood pics ?

Pat

That is one awesome truck! I did notice one thing it can't be a Rover, there are no drips under it

I like it better with the tire mounted. 39.5 tires, 15in rims.

I will take some, nothing too special under there, but thanks a ton for the nice words!

It is 6.5in skinnier, 5in lower, and 2in shorter than it was before. So it fits better, but the really tight spot was the front axle width and that is the same. I have lexan that covers the holes in the floor. Your balls would be fine.

I could argue it's more rover than a NAS truck! But I won't! It has a Rover engine, transmission, t-case. Front grill, hood, rear capping, bulkhead, floor, 2/3 of a frame, and looks!

I never thought of you as that vain.... Did I happen to mention that we just picked up Pro Comp as a sponsor?

Thank you all extremely much for the nice words. I knew there were some wheelers here!

At least you have good reason to be a cage snob

Seeing it makes me want to take the alloys off my truck just to try and get a little "cred."

Love everything except the squared off rear. The cooler instead of the center console is pure genius!

Thanks a lot guys! The rear does look a little odd in the pic from straight on. Here is another from a slightly different angle. I like it better with the spare on, but thats the trouble with Defenders, they're square.

Here is under the hood, not really anything too special under there.

Action shots won't be for at least 2 weeks. I am still having power steering issues! A lot of changes are still going to take place in the axle department....

Sponsor for the race. Putting it on the dyno, tweaking the fuel ratio and doing whatever they can to get it putting out the max power possible without destroying the motor. It was at the Offroad Expo courtesy of Banks.
