Puma in Idaho

Anyone who wants a Puma, it's legal in Idaho:

Ha!

If he gets fired I can wait to see what his Attorney does to the State of California.

Gambling is legal in Nevada just like hunting lions is in Idaho (there is no hunting season for Mountain Lions in California). You don't see people getting fired in Califirnia (where casinos are not legal) for going to Vegas when they come back.

They would probably have to resign if they admitted to gambling and then eating the poker chips though.

You have no idea what powers of influence CA liberals have.

I would not be the least bit surprised to see him somehow forced out.

"I know many, many ethical hunters are just as appalled about the idea of treeing a predator," said Jennifer Fearing, California state director for the Humane Society of the United States. "It is a trophy animal, and they used packs of dogs. He followed behind and shot it out of a tree," she said.

Show me an "ethical hunter" who is appalled by using hounds. Idiots make up whatever they want and 75% of America believes it. Someone needs to call her out.

Anyone ever hunt lion before? Unless you have dogs, your chances of tagging are about as good as preventing leaks from your Defender. My dad's ranch is about an hour or so away from the Flying B. Area is thick with wolves and lions.

On an off note, being from Idaho, I was built up by the thread title thinking I could register a new Defender legally in Idaho. Then I was let down. Mightily, and in more ways than one..

@ SMAC

Yes I have been hunting lion twice in Montana. Cut a female track and I made the decision to not let the guides dogs loose. Second time did not find a track.

I will hopefully fill my tag this December. If not that's why they call it hunting.

Its all a horrible waste of life until one is in their back yard, then shooting one out of a tree is ok. It happens fairly regularly in the SF peninsula. They are thick in the Santa Cruz Mountains and with the overpopulation of deer and turkeys they are thriving and being spotted much more often.

Amen to that. Most likely the same powers that passed the high speed rail system with Bond Money. I have met so many wonderful and smart people while residing here, I just can't figure out where all the stupid ones live that control/vote and the most absurd ballot measures!!!!
