Proving the cost of a diesel upgrade to the wife

Hi,
Here is a great way to prove to the wife the savings of going with either a modern v8 or with a diesel - This is a simple cost of commuting calculator. You can't argue with the internet:

ha conversion I would be lucky to get an allowance for the oil chage

No conversion within site for the next few years. I will go with Nick at Roverworks upgrade to a Gen3 GM motor mated to a six speed auto. 3 different motor sizes to choose from not to mention the smallest, I think a 5.3 has 300hp on tap.

That just confirms i need to get my Scirocco done and move it to DD duty. Even with the weber DCOE's it was getting high teens to low twenties where the disco is getting 10-12 on average..

I was wondering the same question. Did they change their name? Could not find them on the internet anywhere.

If I showed that to my wife all it would accomplish is to insure I was driving a Honda Civic within a week, with the 110 up for sale....
