Pressure washer recomendations

We use a pressure washer a lot. Need 2600psi or more. The higher the pressure the less run time on the engine and pump.
My karcher had an unloader valve fail, put a new one in, and now it pulses so time for replacement.

Sams Club and Home Depot and Lowes all carry Simpson brand and they seem to have good reviews.

I have had a honda for years. I think it was a lowe's purchase. I am very happy with it.

Or find one of these: http://www.govliquidation.com/auctio...D#auction_tabs

I have a Karcher and like it. I bought from a dealer. I probably do not use mine anywhere as much as you but it starts easy enough.

The only thing that I do not like is the washer bottle as I am not even sure how to use it.

I'll go for that one, 3000 psi industrial and heats water up 100 degree's over ambient. Mark just retired and lives down the street from that location. Y'all dont bid against me.

I have a Deere that is 3100 or 3300psi, obviously I abuse it and it's been dead reliable.

Get hot water if you can, it's worth it, you use a lot less water, make a lot less mess and less chemicals. (Karcher hot water machine here).

Doug - that GOV surplus machine is a monster - but should be good for you cleaning old British farm trucks on a commercial scale. I may have to stop by your farm on the way home from MAR next year......

Yep I own it. With buyers premium I'm in it for $300. I could have bought a decent brand new machine for that $.

Typical roverphile type purchase. Buy some old rusty broken ass item for more that you could buy a new version of something else for, because of its perceived potential.

That said its still a currently offered model so all parts are available and a quick google search shows its a $2900-$3k machine. Hopefully this tid bit from our Uncles trash can doesn't take a ton of time and money to get operational.

Upside is I have to go to Portsmouth so meeting Mark and Robert the Davis @ the Bier Garden is an automatic as is our usual. http://www.biergarden.com/

JL it says it heats the water to 100 degree's above input temp. Around here thats 57 or so degree's so not really that hot. But 157 degree water @ 3000 psi should remove everything but waxoyl- I hope.

That's almost the same specs as mine, only mine puts out less pressure. Mine is rated to 90C but it seldom ever gets there, usually I can't get much more than 70-75C out of it (160F or so). I have really cold well water so that doesn't help. If you can get it working well it should be super useful. I had a big 8hp unit with way more GPM but I got rid of it once i got the Karcher, the heat makes all the difference.

Holy crap, I forgot you had the Binford 9000000 power washer. Does it remove paint from fenders and siding from houses?

Well commercial power washer that also does aggregate washing. A wet sand blast, if you will. 30 or 40hp Perkins Diesel. The thing is amazing. Made my money back on it after the first year of doing weekend jobs at Bath Iron Works. Going up for sale soon, no time.
